Suggestions for improvement
- Allow more networking between Kubota Tractor Corp. and the US assembly plants in Georgia. Provide more employee review of American managers to avoid using employee turn-over as the only means of weeding out bad American managers
What I like about the company
For engineers, this is the company you work for and gain some experience before you migrate to AGCO, Caterpillar, CNH, or John Deere. The work environment is good. You can learn a lot about what-to-do and what-not-to-do in a corporate environment. Even with the excessive number of people with MBA in this place their a lot of people who don't know what to do. So if you are new to the job market and a recent college grad then this is good place.
What I dislike about the company
The middle and upper American manager came from other companies. Their is a high risk of working under a rejected/fired/laid-off employee from CNH, John Deere, AGCO, or Hyundai Construction/Automotive. The Japanese management is pron to promoting people who are inept and since the Japanese staff cycles out every 3 to 6 years that will leave you dealing with someone that makes you want to seek out a different employer.
