Unlike other start-up stage companies, kununu US is a wholly owned subsidiary of XING (the leading business networking platform in Europe, similar to LinkedIn) which means that we are fully-funded and very stable. To do this, please follow the steps below: 1- Search the company you wish to follow and go to their profile. 2- Scroll down until you see the benefits on the right side which the company offers. 3- Right above the benefits, you will see a button that says “Follow Company”, click on it. 4- You will need to enter your email, followed by clicking the confirmation link emailed to you. Thank you for your question! Working at kununu is honestly great! One of the best experiences I had was going to our CMO’s house and having a BBQ dinner with backyard games in the summer, and really bonding. This is something that you don’t always experience at larger companies. It was a real family-like vibe which was unique for me. This translates into the workplace, we have a small office, so it is great that you are given the time to bond, making work easier. Especially when you know everyone you work with loves being here, sharing ideas and valuing one another. We all have a direct impact on company goals and work culture, which is really cool to be a part of! We have a hip office right in the heart of the seaport district in Boston. Also, there are many perks that come with working here, some include unlimited snacks, a ping-pong table, company outings, and team lunch every Friday!

Thank you for your interest in our open role! We are so excited to be growing our sales team. Base salary for the position starts around 40K, but can adjust up based on relevant experience. Plus there's a quarterly bonus and commission structure on top!

That's quite a broad question and the answer really depends on: - what job role or career path you're trying to get into after that 2 year sabbatical - what was the reason behind the sabbatical. For instance, was it related to personal development / discovery, health, family emergency, family? - Did you do any professional or skills development during that time that might relate to the job or career path you're now pursuing? These are the things that you should ask yourself, and that you should also be prepared to explain to hiring managers and people you network with now as you pick up your job search. As for specific approach to the job search given your sabbatical, here are some tips: - be honest with yourself about the type of role you'd be interested in in doing right now and the skills you can currently offer to an employer - keep an open mind, as the job market for the career you're interested in might be a bit different than it was 2 years ago - use free job search sites like Google and LinkedIn to sort through different job openings and to explore the different types of opportunities that are available out there if you're not sure what direction to go - make sure to do research on any company that you apply to (such as right here on kununu) so that you understand who they are and whether the company would be a good fit for you. Thank you for your interest in our Customer Success team! The mission of the Customer Success team is to ensure high customer satisfaction, advocacy, and retention. We do this by driving product adoption, proactive engagement, and helping the customer realize the value of kununu. The reason we focus on those areas is because renewals, to us, is not a task, but a milestone. In other words, our Customer Success Managers are responsible for renewals, with the renewal journey starting the second a customer interacts with the team. In terms of upselling, our CSMs are encouraged to upsell based on the genuine need of a customer.

Do you have an example of a current customer you work with and how you interact with them? What are you best practices? Also, has Customer Success successfully closed an upsell deal with a current customer? What and how did you sell to them?

What a great question! Every customer is a little different so we tailor our Customer Success approach for each customer by understanding what they want to achieve with kununu. For example, one of our current customers is looking to create a unique employer brand. We sat down with this customer to draw up an action plan and agreed on the milestones we will hit together in the next year. It has been a few months, and we are seeing progress already! In terms of upselling, our CSMs are encouraged to upsell based on the genuine need of a customer.

Thanks for your question! Our database includes any company that has at least 1 review from a former employee, current employee or applicant, so by that standard it is current. I do get the point of your question though, which is that it'd be great to have all companies you'd like to learn about on kununu. We are working on it! :) Please let me know if that doesn't answer your question.

Thanks for your question! We don't currently have a formal program for undergraduate students, international or otherwise, though we do frequently have internships. We would likely treat sponsorship on a case by case basis. Please let us know if that doesn't answer your question!

That is very true! You have a good source. The event was great. All 4 offices(Boston, Vienna, Porto, Berlin) of kununu were there. We talked about our core values, our strategies for growth, and how we are going to help people become HAPPIER in the Work-Life by providing "Workplace insights that matter."

Sounds great. Charles, what strategies did you guys talk about for making people happier? How does the product help companies make sure people are happier? Do you have a specific example of a company that has used your product and has seen success in making people happier?

Hi Charles: You forgott to named the Office in Zurich ;-)

Working in Boston is awesome - it's even cooler that we get to integrate with our counterparts in Austria on a daily basis. We have an internal chat channel where we can share ideas and support each other! Sometimes European offices travel to Boston and vise versa!

Working in the Boston office is great! Awesome location in an up-and-coming area, cool and cozy office space. We work and move fast like a small startup, but with the foundation and support of our Austria counterparts (and beyond). When it comes to collaborating, our Boston team connects with our Vienna team multiple times per month as a large group with video conferencing, and even more frequently in smaller groups on specific global projects. Individual team members from both locations fly out to visit each other on a regular basis and we also communicate with each other pretty much daily on Slack :)

We have a number of people in the office who are Christmas junkies (but usually every holiday is well celebrated), so we've planned an awesome off-site party for the team and their significant others and will also be doing a secret santa at the office as well. We really exemplify the work hard, play hard spirit and I know I appreciate the opportunity to have some fun with my co-workers.

Everyone at the office is super passionate about what we do for both businesses and users of the platform. Its encouraging to see my colleagues want to be successful and to create a better workplace for all. Also - our office environment is the epitome of work hard play hard. We push through goals, but take the time to come together as a team and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

what data protection do you have

Great work/life balance here - we have the freedom to work from home (remote) once a week and/or if we have to be home for the cable or internet guy. We are also a dog friendly office and have some of our office pups in a few days a week!

We work together to overcome obstacles and challenge ourselves to make ingenious improvements. Our team has a lot of fun along the way with awesome team events. The kununu office is above a Craft Beer Cellar... need I say more?

The culture here has a 'start-up' feel to it - if someone has too much work on their plate, someone else usually jumps in to give a lending hand. I'm also a big fan of the Friday catered lunches and basketball on Tuesday nights.

I really appreciate that I'm able to collaborate with my whole team. You're never alone and you're encouraged to speak up and ask for help if you really need it. The whole office really focuses on exemplifying our core goals and I love that we are all open minded and making ingenious improvements weekly.

Here at kununu, we have the unique advantage of combining the excitement of startup culture, the satisfaction of figuring things out for the first time, and the backing of our successful heritage in Europe. Highly recommend!
