Suggestions for improvement
The company is driven by its mission of providing healthcare services to members.
favoratism is a huge problem at LACare with managers and directors only updating there favorite people. Most people that I talk to are not getting enough information from managers and directors to be able to do their job.
The level of teamwork varies a lot throughout the company. Managers and directors who are favorites do well and get what they need. Everyone else is on their own.
Very proper, good willed, caring about employees
Not always. Depends.
Teamwork was excellent in MY team.
It was fairly good level of autonomy within MY area of responsibility. This was not always true beyond that.
Corporate communication was very good if not excellent.
They constantly provided an industry specific education material - it would be nicer if their HR benefit based education reimbursement program could include any type of education - not only the one specific to the employment position.
