For the most part, supervisors will help when needed. As for the company contributing to a work climate of fairness and trust, for the most part yes. It really goes by a situation to situation basis.
Support from Management
Since there are 3 departments, each department has specific job roles and duties. For the most part, if you do your job, you are good to go. You are pretty much on your own. However, there are clicks, just like any place of employment. As long as your respectful to others, you will usually get the same in return. The Personal Training Department can be tricky. As an employee in that department, you make almost all decision making and if you need management they will come and deal with anything you may not be able to do.
As a Group Instructor, at least for me, it was an awesome experience for the most part! If you really care about the customer and have their best at heart, you will not believe the amount of appreciation and respect you can get. Overall, just speaking for myself, because I cared for them, they cared for me and myself and my students were like a family! It can be challenging at times. The more experience you have, the smoother the classes go.
