Are you a Current or Former Employee? Former job since 2007
Lots of nepotism. If you weren't part of the family, then you never got promoted.
Support from Management
Favoritism was rampant.
Many teams were disfunctional.
Level of Autonomy
They let teachers teach what they wanted.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire qualified people to run this business, and the schools will improve. It's not a family run business, it's supposed to be a state charter school.
I like about the employer
In the beginning, when the company started in 2002, it was great. I felt appreciated by little things they would do to say thanks for the hard work. I thought maybe I could work hard and get promoted from within the organization.
