Company Culture

Constant layoffs, management treats lower tier employees like lepers, poor scheduling of jobs resulting in constant overtime/cut time. Always fearing a layoff. The 2nd star is for the food they bribe everyone with monthly.

Support from management

0 stars if possible. Except for a rare few, management stays in their offices.

Teamwork

Many of the non management staff understand the burden that management puts on everyone and tries to help the best they can.

Freedom to work independently

Except for your coworkers in the immediate vicinity there is no help.

Internal Communication

Pretty fair amount of communication. Whether or not they use that information to help is another story.

Work-Life Balance

Generally a 40 hour work week. Except at the end of each month/quarter/year. Then who needs a life?

Workplace Safety

Someone literally died here. There's a tree outside as a memorial to her.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Replace management and HR team. There is no other way with them still there.

What I like about the company

The pay.

What I dislike about the company

Poor management and time allocation. High turnover. Poor quality products. Mandatory overtime due to poor scheduling. The parking lot was sectioned off because people don't know how to not walk in front of cars...

Company Culture

High French influence. They knew everything. Did nothing !

Support from management

Leadership team was weak and biased. Site leader had poor people skills and even worse presentation capability.

Teamwork

Depended on department- some worked well together- while others were pitted against one another.

Job Security

Company was always looking to being on younger more diversified European workers to model their own image after.

Suggestions for improvement

  • HR function aligned too far towards the company. Employee performance often dictated by heresay or simply interpreted based on your relationship with leadership team.

What I dislike about the company

Lack of discipline or consistency with marginal performers. Many tenured employees just got by...

Support from management

Ideas are forbidden and communication by management is non existent. On several occasions I was insulted and belittled by management.

Teamwork

Teamwork was really good When we were allowed to work as a team.

No one communicates, to many people wanted to play "I've got a secret".

Everybody was treated just as bad as the next guy.

Career Development

There is no ladder to climb. The rules were created to prevent that.

Compensation ok and benefits ok at best.

Office / Work Environment

Working conditions were really good until the micro management started. Creativity went out the door and all that was left was that yes man mentality.

Job Security

I did not feel secure last two years of employment.

Challenging Work

Non ergonomical work station performing mindless data entry.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Make accountability go to those that mess up but allow room for good idea flow and let the employees use their talents to excel at there jobs. Also increase communication from management to guide the work flow and allow personal growth within the employees not micromanage and belittle.

What I like about the company

You will hear what you want to hear.

What I dislike about the company

No employee creativity allowed. Moral always low due to "do what I say" mentality.
