If you are in, it's great. If you're not so good at "fitting in", it becomes very bad real soon
Support from management
f you can/will sell your soul to the hospital they act like they support you but a person really must be dead to have account of the "soul saving" exercise. If they get a whiff that you are considering a renege on the soul sale...you're done
There is some genuine teamwork that goes on here, However, there is a strong feel of clique mentality .
Freedom to work independently
This does not happen
As mentioned earlier, if you're in it's very good but if you are not you will become ostracized .
Men definitely are a minority and this is blatantly apparent and flaunted
Attitude towards older colleagues
If older means that you must slow down a bit, you are done
I must learn how to redevelop my career after the disaster that coming to work for this agency has created.
Overall compensation for your work
The money was not bad at all
Office / Work Environment
Not so bad if you're good at denial
No thought to this whatsoever, in the community
It's the hospital or the highway
One mistake begins the process of history
They follow federal guidelines only
Like perfume on the pig, they make it look good but there is little concern for occupational safety/atmosphere or correctness. OT came to my workstation 3 separate times and told me of the things that I had to purchase to make it correct, then they left with me still in agony .
Inclusive / Diverse
You are either in or out, very black and white
Suggestions for improvement
- scrap and redo entire culture
What I like about the company
Very little, some of the staff were/are kind
What I dislike about the company
Most everything, it's culture is built on deceit.
