Expensive benefits. No raises or bonuses, except for certain employees.

Office / Work Environment

Broken chairs, chipped counter tops that cut skin at the nurses station, staff was not allowed to adjust thermostat to either the residents’ or staffs’ comfort.

Work-Life Balance

They will call you on your off time and pressure you to work, and you are not on call. Families are not taken into consideration.

Company Image

Many employees are not proud of working for this company. The company is more concerned with image than with properly caring for their employees.

Job Security

The position was always in jeopardy. Favoritism is a huge issue in the facility. As well as terminating employees for fabricated claims, sometimes due to their medical problems.

Handicapped Accessibility

It has to be for residents, but I can’t imagine it would be modified for any handicapped employee.

Workplace Safety

Leaking ceiling panels from issues that the company would not repair. Overloaded electrical outlets. Outdated generator. Ventilation in the only staff room is poor, heat and a/c does not work and facility did not want to spend money to repair. It was so hot that the candy in the vending machine melted.
