They do not care for their employees. They do not recognize or reward hard work or diligent service.
Certain coworkers work well together. But the overall “culture” and company moral creates an environment of mistrust and hostility.
Freedom to work independently
You will work alone, very little help is offered or provided.
Overall compensation for your work
Expensive benefits. No raises or bonuses, except for certain employees.
Office / Work Environment
Broken chairs, chipped counter tops that cut skin at the nurses station, staff was not allowed to adjust thermostat to either the residents’ or staffs’ comfort.
They will call you on your off time and pressure you to work, and you are not on call. Families are not taken into consideration.
Many employees are not proud of working for this company. The company is more concerned with image than with properly caring for their employees.
The position was always in jeopardy. Favoritism is a huge issue in the facility. As well as terminating employees for fabricated claims, sometimes due to their medical problems.
It has to be for residents, but I can’t imagine it would be modified for any handicapped employee.
Leaking ceiling panels from issues that the company would not repair. Overloaded electrical outlets. Outdated generator. Ventilation in the only staff room is poor, heat and a/c does not work and facility did not want to spend money to repair. It was so hot that the candy in the vending machine melted.
Very challenging at times
