Suggestions for improvement
- To the owners, Try to be a little more compassionate in your future endeavors. Just because your procedures worked in the Phillipines, doesn't mean you can bring that mentallity to the states and expect to get away with innappropriate working conditions. There was so many layers of corruption, even if minor...the comments made to us and the conditions in which we worked were not kosher. Perhaps have the "front" and "back" employees switch up the work load on a regular basis to create a better sense of community and teamwork.
What I like about the company
The food was good. It was nice to take home a bundle of leftover pastries from earlier in the day.
What I dislike about the company
The owners were demeaning, rude, degrading, and outright mean. And it wasn't consistent....ie: the "back of the house," where i worked, we were treated like dog meat and had to do all of the physical labor whereas the "front of the house" employees got to lounge and mess with their phones whenever there was downtime. There wasn't any downtime in the back of the house.
