The main issue this company struggles with is excessive overtime. It is cheaper for this company to work it's employees 55 to 60 hrs a week, then to hire more union employees. They save on the cost of benefits additional union employees would require. The downside is the current employees are terribly burned out from being over worked. To work for this company, you need thick skin. And be prepared to miss family functions, school events, and sleep. The up side is the livable wage and union benefits. Be sure to write a pro and con list before accepting a position with Lamb Weston.
