Suggestions for improvement
- Create a management induction training. There needs to exist a knowledge base on how to create/approve projects, where to get resources, etc.
What I like about the company
It is a well established company which is currently bringing back its original vision and refocusing the business. There is a major goal to become the "employer of choice".
What I dislike about the company
You need to arrive ready to go and you need to be a go-getter. Nobody will provide you any details on what you need to do or which processes to follow. Sometimes, there are no processes to follow but you're invited to create the processes then (which is actually a good opportunity). Since there are many people working here for large amounts of time (25 year work anniversary is a common mark), there's a more than desirable amount of "it's always been like this" situation whenever a change needs to be applied, but with some effort it is possible to overcome that.
