Company culture

5/5 stars since Lane Bryant centers it's culture around body positivity and making each client feel comfortable in their own skin.

Support from Management

Support from upper management is bittersweet. On the one hand, there are a few managers that I connect and communicate very well with and I love working with them; but on the other hand the store manager lets her personal relationship with one particular manager cloud her judgement and that takes a negative toll on the rest of us employees. She'll consistently seem supportive of me and my work endeavors and compliment me for doing a great job but she is quick to upset sometimes which I believe is highly unprofessional. Also her favoritism of the one particular manager I mentioned enables this individual to take the liberty to do things that she has not received authorization to do.

Company culture

Forced. They try very hard to create this "plus is equal" message and emphasize that the customers are big. They already know that, they don't want to be constantly reminded, and let us know all the time.

Support from Management

Leadership is hit or miss. Half care about the girls alot and are always on their side, the other half could care less and make it clear they don't care. Communication is lacking through out all the store, seems like everyone does their own thing and problems arise out of it.

Company culture

Expect employees to go over and beyond without appreciation. District managers feel threatening, condescending and insulting their employees is a way to get them to respect them and work hard for them. The company pays very low. Expects us to push customers to open credit cards with little to no incentives or we hear about the incentives that we won but then yet never see them.

Teamwork

Teamwork from coworkers, not so much from management.
