What I like

I worked with wonderful people whom I looked forward to seeing daily. My fellow teachers really helped to support me and help me better myself and my abilities in my job.

What I dislike

I feel that the pay for teachers needs to be raised. I also feel that there should be more money put into the education system as a whole especially in the state of Oklahoma.

Suggestions for improvement

I feel that there could be more positive encouragement for the teachers to appreciate them for all of the work they put into their students and schools. They deserve incentive and support. They need to be raised up and not told how to teach everything. Th

Company Culture

I did not have much support from my higher administration team

Teamwork

We supported each other because we didnt have much support from administration

Work-Life Balance

I felt like I had to be a teacher and do teacher stuff around the clock

Freedom to work independently

We were always told how the district wanted it done and we could not just teach.

Office / Work Environment

A lot of the equipment was out dated. We didnt have enough supplys. Education was not given a big budget in Oklahoma

Overall compensation for your work

Teachers didnt get paid for crap

Challenging Work

I was a classroom teacher, 4th grade. I had to many students in which half of them were related.
