They will micromanage you to death! They use unethical practices such as using your personal cell phone to call customers that were not responding to the company phone.
Suggestions for improvement
- Many of these La-Z-Boy companies are privately owned so it depends on the owner. This particular store management was not very good and the benefits were horrible. If you like being treated like a child, this is your job! As with many environments such as retail, corporate is never aware of what really goes on with in their stores. My suggestion to the store is give people at least a week off to start! Five days is just ridiculous! Management should be monitored and not just for their numbers! Take responsibility for your company and create a humane and synchronistic environment for employees.
