Suggestions for improvement
- What I suggested in the previous question concerning occurrences. Calling off multiple days in a row should count as 1 occurence.
Also, having theDM and RM more involved in workplace culture... i.e. asking for honest feedback from associates.
What I like about the company
I love my coworkers. We have a very diverse team that gets along really well. I also love our new maternity leave policy- 12 weeks 100% pay! They do offer paid time off for even part time associates now who average at least 20 hours per week. They are now given 5 8hr days of PTO.
What I dislike about the company
The lack of awareness around how unhappy associates are with management at the store level. They de-motivate instead of inspire. It would be beneficial for the RM and DM to be more involved in the culture within the stores.
Also, the newest attendance policy allows for 6 occurrences in 6 months. Which seems fair unless you get the flu and are out for 5 days. That's 5 occurrences. Most jobs count consecutive days as 1 occurence. I wish they would consider this.
