Support from management
Very poor at helping you perform. I was just thrown into classes without training in any corporate manner and told teach this or that. Sure they gave you a book but no daily plan. If you happened to get a dailyplan, you were told it wasn't good enough and to right a better one. When you wrote a better one it was ridiculed.
Suggestions for improvement
- The company is closing nationwide. When a cooking school can't even keep the doors of it's own restaurant open enough said.
What I like about the company
Le Cordon Bleu used to be a good brand. Had a great reputation and made good decisions. But too many supervisors spoil the broth. When a companies stock goes from 40 a share down to 3 something is wrong at the top. I loved it when I began. We were treated well and had great moral. Then it just started to dwindle away.
What I dislike about the company
They never told us what was really going on as the company bgan to decline. They continually became more secretive and less transparent.
