Absolutely no work-life balance, to a degree that is difficult to explain. The main MO was to work around the clock. Senior employees took pride in having missed the kindergarten events for all of their children. Managers at my level needed to work 18 to 23 hours per day to keep projects on track. The company's reliance on conference calls as the main tool for action then multiplied the number of working hours and decreased effectiveness.
