Suggestions for improvement
- See previous answer. we need more employees and more equipment to properly tend to our pts needs. The number of tests ordered increases 100 fold but we still only have 2 machines to do the procedures/tests on. Patients wind up waiting days to get tests done. Lack of one $10/hr employee keeps 4 $20-$50/hr employees less productive than they should/could be.
What I like about the company
they allow me to work independently. they empower me to solve problems and implement them. my coworkers are great and work together as a team, which is very important to me. I am trusted and feel free to self report any problems without fear of retaliation or punitive actions.
What I dislike about the company
the "c" level is out of touch with the working people. They look at pages and numbers and make questionable decisions that negatively affect the ability to do our jobs well. i.e. increase number of patients while decreasing number of employees and expect better patient satisfaction overall. The time expectations for number of patients serviced is unrealistic if not downright impossible. Don't set impossible goals and increase employee stress if you know it is not possible. (they throw out 30% of the results to get "their numbers") Why "work the numbers" when you can set more realistic goals or increase our ability to meet those goals. (increase the number of machines/equipment available to be used. We add 100 beds but do not increase testing capacity etc finally they get 6 figure bonuses and we get 3 if we are lucky. We need more equality in wages.
