One sided - Profit is #1 priority- nothing else matters
Support from management
Unreal Expectations - Goal is Make as much money as possible and do as your told or be written up or fired.
The Best group of people I could ever work with except management
Freedom to work independently
Used to be that way, new management micro manages everything.
Micro managing has benefits, and good communications are one of them.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The work is hard, most drivers are 50+
If your hired as a driver, you will always be a driver. Star gas does not want any of the management to understand the business.
Overall compensation for your work
no, pay is good but same job at Petro (a separate division in the same area) pays 3 dollars an hour more.
Office / Work Environment
Decent equipment, stared updating a few years ago
Used to be a lot better, has slipped in last year
Work, work, work. mandatory overtime. no matter how unreal the expectation, you are expected to complete your route or will be written up.
Cant find people willing to work for them
Safety was important, but producing is more important now.
Inclusive / Diverse
