Support from management
Leadership is poor. Family owned business who micro manage and control every aspect of the business. Employees are basically reduced to robots that must follow strict policies or be subjected to interrogational processes. Leadership tends to distrust managers and limits their ability to actually manage.
Suggestions for improvement
- Let managers manage. Stop micromanaging your employees. Why would you hire smart people and then tell them how to do their job? You should let them tell you how to run the business and then you should empower them to do so. Leadership, from my personal experience, could care less about their employees. They are more concerned with micromanaging you and dumping their responsibilities on you as well.
What I like about the company
I enjoy the type of work I do.
What I dislike about the company
Micro Manage. Control how you do your work by taking away your decision making ability. Burden you with extra work that should be typically completed at the corporate level. Basically, pass the buck to managers and staff because they can. Short staffed with unhappy employees and high turnover.
