Support from management
Company has a revolving door for management and does not care for nor respect production employees.
Company has continued to ignore employee concerns with air quality. With 40 welding machines running all day the shop fills with toxic smoke. They refuse to invest in any type of ventilation. They also refuse to maintain equipment. In 2015 a massive piece of equipment caught fire inside the building. It was large enough that it required 4 fire departments to extinguish. Employees were then forced to return to work the SAME day and sent to work inside the still smoke filled building. The company continually pushes employees to skip safety in favor of production.
Suggestions for improvement
- A down to earth management team who takes the time to hear out the employees on the front line. Provide them with respect and honor the employment contract they signed. Take safety seriously before the next accident takes a life.
What I like about the company
Good pay and benefits from the start.
What I dislike about the company
The company continually takes away benefits and requires more out of employees. Management can be very intrusive with your private life. The company does not follow it's own handbook unless the outcome is in their favor. Overall the company treats it's production employees like trash. Company moral is absolute zero. It was a wonderful company to work for in the beginning but as management changed hands it made a turn for the worst.
