Attitude towards older colleagues
The only thing I will say is there are some truly petty things that will happen if you aren’t liked or if you stand up for yourself...
Suggestions for improvement
- This is not a bad job. Management is great and team members are great. They will work with you on most things and are pretty lenient by most companies standards. However it starts to feel like a sweat shop the busier that it gets where you are continuously answering phone calls and it kind of feels like you are trapped. At the same time I’m sure a lot of call centers are like this so it comes with the territory. If you like sales and being on the phone consistently then this is for you.
What I like about the company
Management will work with you and everyone is friendly for the most part
What I dislike about the company
They “upgraded” to a new system and it was much worse than the one they replaced. You can tell the managers wanted more power to see and control everything you were doing. Jumping right into a call is ridiculous with nothing but a “whisper” in your ear to indicate its been received, then they tell you you can’t use a mute button, & write you up for talking in the beginning of the call. Consider that your employees have to do this every day for 5 days a week!!
