Lots of favoritism.
Support from management
This is rare.
Weekend staff are separated from the weekday staff. They feel left out of most things.
Weekend staff are left to figure things for themselves. No communication from the week.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Depends who you are and who likes you.
Overall compensation for your work
Many places have better pay.
Office / Work Environment
Its a beautiful building but ends at the that
The AC units dont seem to be adequate for the building. Many families and residents complained of being hot.
From the staff I worked with, it was the company doesnt care.
People are fired, then brought back even when they shouldnt be and the staff then is concerned what will happen to them. Lies are rampant and believed by management.
Suggestions for improvement
- From the staff that I worked with, whom had been their for several years, they felt all the management team should be let go and new brought in. They felt left out and that no one listens to them. Communication needs to improve from weekday to weekend staff. Favoriticism is very evident and disliked by everyone. Some get away with anything being disrespectful to other staff members and residents and nothing is said to them. If a staff member says something about it then they are the ones targeted. So no one speaks up.
What I like about the company
Its a beautiful building.
What I dislike about the company
Unequal treatment of staff members. People are fired with good cause and then brought back like they were perfect employees. One employee was fired for allegations of abuse which they substantiated and then after a couple of months, they hired them back.
