Employees are not involved in decision making. Also, if you let DON or ADON about a problem it is not resolved.
Other employees consider your work to be your own and will tell you no if you ask for help. Even if it is their patient.
Freedom to work independently
12 hour shifts, 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6 am. If oncoming staff is not there on time you cannot leave. Holidays and many phone calls for overtime.
Your job is not stable, if there is no patients you do not work. If censes is low you do not work. You are not compensated for lost hours and could be sent home after only being at work one hour. There are no other units to float too.
