You did get recognized for years of service and rewarded for jobs well done.
Support from management
Management would listen to ideas but if it wasn't benificial to them directly it hardly received consideration.
The team if employees I worked with got the job done no matter what. However, the turnover rate for the company was a revolving door right before I left.
Meetings were taken seriously off and on. Really poor on communicating with employees and service to equipment.
Office / Work Environment
It's outside and hot in the summer, cold in the winter.
Start when told, finished when job is done. Could be long days 14+hrs, could be short days depending on work load.
The work is very rewarding personally if you take pride in what you do not who you do it for.
Suggestions for improvement
- Make getting equipment repaired an immediate priority and plan ahead and around it thoughtfully.
What I like about the company
You're part of changing the landscape around the world and provide customers with material at a fair price and a feeling of pride when a job is done.
What I dislike about the company
The lack of attention to getting equipment fixed in a timely manner and the age of some of the equipment there.
