They attempt to do internal activities to keep the employees moral up. They fall short because most of the funds go towards upper supervisory postitions rather then regular employees. They don’t even have a Holiday party. They have one once every two years and employees have to pay 150 dollars to attend.
Support from management
Management only cares about bottom lines and making money. The mission of what this company stood for 25 years ago has slowly been replaced by money. Management using scare tactics and threats to keep employees in line.
There is no team in the company. Employees are often threatened that they could lose their job at any moment. Management boasts about being able to fire people in a way that they never have to pay unemployment.
Freedom to work independently
Everything is micromanaged. Tod employees disagree with management they are told to “suck it up”.
They lack clear communication with their employees. The SOP they do have employees are told to ignore because they no longer pertain to the job. Without ever reviewing them nor updating them.
Both genders are equally treated badly unless they conform to the status quo.
Attitude towards older colleagues
I worked there for eight years. All the more experienced older employees were fired for small infractions that younger employees get away with.
There is no career development or upward mobility.
Office / Work Environment
It’s a high stress job with no outlet. The pressure of conforming and bringing in donors or getting fired is forced on by management.
Employees are put against eacother in an effort to perform better by management.
There is no real balance. In a company that deals death at every aspect employees are not able to express when they need help or time off.
They have a good outward company image until you work for them.
Management threatens job daily.
Inclusive / Diverse
There is some diversity in departments but a walk through clearly demonstrates the need for more.

- Overhaul of how employees are treated.
