Too much backstabbing in the office and lack of support
Support from management
My supervisor was pulled in too many directions by the upper management to be able to support as well as having his hands tied on what he could do.
The School Based Team had a wonderful teamwork setting. It was the rest of the departments and office that had no teamwork.
No one shares what is happening. As the saying goes the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, but the company likes it that way
Overall compensation for your work
They do not compensate and leave out that the company does not give raises when you are hired by instead stating they can look into it.
Office / Work Environment
Our team had to beg for resources and when we got them we had to share a workbook between 5 of us in 3 different towns.
The company did not listen to social cues or the needs of the clients as well as the schools that hired them.
If you were sick there was a question and prove situation with the staff in the office to report back to people above my supervisor
Everyone in the community does not like Lifeways and believes that they do not have a good staff that knows what they are doing. That was part of my programs job was to try to change the image of the company.
There was a lot of turn over toward the end of me being with the company due to them "cleaning house" as well as a lot of people realizing there was no future in the company and needed to make more money and get into a more positive work place.
The following benefits were offered to me
