Moral is low due to the verbally abusive 2nd owner.
Support from management
There are two owners, one who is better than the other at communication and expectations and the other who is just mean, spiteful and vindictive. He does not council you individually rather yells and belittles the employees over conference calls in front of the entire team. If that is no effective he will critique or belittle his employees over group emails. The other owner is guilty be association because he stands by, watches it all happen and does nothing.
Dispite the issues with upper management the team really tries hard to work together and get along. It is a very hard working group that cares about their product and customers.
Freedom to work independently
My position was solitary so unless you found your own replacement you were unable to take any time off. The work/programs happened over the weekends so you end up on call every weekend.
The owners are frequently not on the same page and therefor a LOT of miscommunication happens leaving the employees to be caught in the middle.
I was the only woman there other than the office manager who only works 3 days a week. Make your own assessment.

It was a very young staff.
No training was offered and there was no room for career growth for the position I hired in as.

It paid at the bottom of the average for that position and I had to negotiate for that when I hired on.
Office / Work Environment
I was given very nice machinery, very up to date programs and the tools necessary for the job with the exception of the poor internet. The facility is nice however your all in one big room with
concrete floors so it echoes and is rarely quiet and difficult to concentrate.
Families are NOT taken care of. Only the owners families matter. Nearly all positions are solitary so you have to find your own replacements to take any time off. You have to be on call 24/7 and are not compensated for that time no appreciated.
No, employees roll eyes, talk ugly umong themselves and behind the managers backs. Moral is low.
No one is safe and the second owner makes sure you know it. I wish I had known that my position had a turnover rate of 1 year.

- Remove some of the freedom from the secondary owner. Do not let him continue to abuse the employees
