Perception does not translate
Support from management
Too much talk about being a cutting edge and progressive company yet no substance behind it. The goals are nice but the implementation is lacking. "A" for hype, "F" for implementation.
Too much behind the back infighting. Sadly, it is more of a nursery school than professional pool of talent.
Bottom up communication is not reaaaaallllyyy encouraged despite the talk.
Gotta call BS on this one.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Really "n/a" since there are only a few dinosaurs (over 45) as they are called!
Sorry, don't look here for any career support. Good springboard though to get into a company that encourages career development.
Office / Work Environment
Good food perks but a heavy dose of carbs (beer) and salt and sugar.....
Good external focus.
Hours are reasonable but face time is over emphasized.
Severely hurt by well-publicized fines and investigation of stock platform. Will take a while to earn back trust
Quick trigger mentality. Very few long term employees and lots of firing. They hire "independent consultants" to help mask firings.
Open door policy -- but rarely used.
Not an issue.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire a professional HR consultant to speak to employees
What I like about the company
I know what a good employer is sadly because of the way I saw how they treated people.
What I dislike about the company
Very unprofessional attitudes of non-management employees is tolerated.
