Suggestions for improvement
- First, the pay! Second, the lack of upper management involvement and third, listening to the staff to find out what's best for each individual. After all, who spend the most with these people?
What I like about the company
Working with physically and mentally impaired individuals is very rewarding. Each person depends on their staff to fill their day with job coaching, community activities, volunteering, or whatever goals they are working on. A missed day for them is a disappointment because otherwise they don't usually get out to do much of anything.
It's rewarding for both, staff and the individual!
What I dislike about the company
The lack of communication. There's rarely any praise to the staff for accomplishments made with any of the individuals. Rules change without proper notification!
