Company culture is good at local level. National just saw as way to reduce expenses.
Support from management
Most of my supervisors were very professional. Those that weren't have already left the company
My co-workers were generally willing to assist others.
Freedom to work independently
No say in how workload is distributed.
Communications were at mushroom level-kept in the dark and fed ....
Were no barriers to advancement for women.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Company has a young culture and older workers just have to keep up.
Lip service is paid to advancement but did not really exist.
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation and benefits were good but raises were based on popularity.
Office / Work Environment
It's a call center. Better than average but still a call center.
Company is socially aware within the company but did offer deals that were not.
Balance was okay but vacations had to be scheduled long in advance and families were not taken into consideration.
Most people did not mention company outside of work.
Letting workers go is seen as a way to improve the bottom line
Disabled workers were laid off first.
Safety is mentioned but is not really a priority.
Work was generally conflict mediation and managing returns.
Inclusive / Diverse
Flexibility was allowed but money came first.
Suggestions for improvement
- Need to decided just what direction the company is heading and may need to get better upper management.
What I like about the company
Was a relatively well paying job that was generally interesting.
What I dislike about the company
