I would give it a 0 out of 10
Support from management
Worked well as a team, but little to no help from management. We were left to fend for ourselves. Sheep to the wolves.
Freedom to work independently
I was trusted, however, in a field of work like this you have no choice but to work as a team in order to keep funders happy.
No, we would be told to go find our own way.
Yes to both questions
Office / Work Environment
Absolutely not comfortable, if you coughed you were penalized, if you didn't wear stockings you would be written up. There are no windows, only cubicles and temp control was uncontrolled ny staff, only maintenance. The ventilation systems are far from updated and you breath in stale air, poor air quality and circulation.
Only recycling of used sharps for HIV, HCV and STI testing purposes.
Not at all , no consideration whatsoever. Sometimes you work weekends but with little to no notice. When you hav me children and plans made outside if work hours, they don't particularly care.
Very, I am proud of all the work I prodused throughout my time with the agency. I struggled to make numbers meet on my own with little to no help in the process
Suggestions for improvement
- Treat employees with more respect and be more understanding of personal circumstances.
- Don't work here
What I like about the company
The ability to drive to places to promote services. Little to no office time depending on position,
What I dislike about the company
The way they descriminate employees for having a disability. They let people go without reasonable cause. They let people go before they hit the five year mark in order to prevent them from being vested for a pension. The directors and coordinators in certain departments are not helpful in any aspect. They leave you to figure things out on your own, they are not helpful and they treat you like dirt.
