Support from management
Not enough supervisors/management. Issues in procedures do not get addressed in a timely manner, creating a difficult environment to work in.
Everything is done in ' dual verification'. Employees always have a helping hand, but Depending on the type of work you do for the company, your teammate(s) can have an impact on the timely efficiency of the daily job.
Freedom to work independently
Not a place for independent work.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Poor efficiency with the use of long-serving employees.
Dead end job. Advancement opportunities are practically non-existing.
The advantage of working at Loomis is a learning experience, but not a career.
Overall compensation for your work
Benefits consist of medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Medical benefits are expensive. Starting wage is low. Yearly raises are small.
Lead positions are more responsibility and work, but do not get an increase in pay.
Office / Work Environment
Mandatory overtime. To be employed at Loomis Armored you can not leave until the job is done.
Safety features missing.
Requesting vacation has a poor procedure. Time off for family must fall under strict contact. Mandatory overtime: you can not leave work until your job is done.
At any given time your job can be jeopardized by change in schedule/job/procedures.
Loomis does not accommodate for any employees.
Some work is tedious, but the work itself is fun. Loomis is a fast-paced environment to work in, making the hours fly by. You will definitely get exercise! Loomis employees thrive on helping each other get the job done.
