Suggestions for improvement
- Reduce Union employees dependence on overtime. Change the culture and give power back to management.
Older employees are welcome in this organization; never viewed age discrimination
Courses are offered to employees to support career development for promotional opportunities
Employees are compensated very well; the benefit package for full-time employees are 100% over-the-top. Medical, dental, vision; 401K 457K, 357, etc.
As a former employee, I rate this agency as a top notch public employer in the County of Los Angeles. Aside from providing transportation to a hugely diverse population, this agency is responsible for a variety of projects which include LA vast freeway system, bicycle projects, and so many things which keeps the City/County mobile.
