They could be fair, but never commenting atmosphere.
Support from management
When I worked there is was fresh out of billing and coding school and it was the a new practice. My opinion is that office needed to focus on the up to date, software, having two employees one in the front and one working in the back with patients that are trained in that field. It's hard for one person to run a office and help treat patients.
The hands on from the Employer was good as they were learning as well. But the employer seemed frustrated and unsure at times.
Freedom to work independently
The workload could be slow some days, but they needed another trained employee for the hands on with the doctor.
Very well spoken about task that needed to be done in the order they wanted. But not always given task at hand type instructions clearly or from one day to the next decision making would be changed after the task had been completed.
I really didn't feel that appreciated at times as I would always show mine in my hard work and my work ethics.
Attitude towards older colleagues
We didn't have older or seniors working there. But they were very kind towards the elderly patients.
There wasn't really room to move up I was the office manager. But I was told I'd get pay raises and I received one raise due to them cutting back to a part time office.
Overall compensation for your work
No benefits there, always paid on time, the pay should of been more for the long hours and all the multiple duties involved.
Office / Work Environment
The software not up to date, still using paper 80 % of the time. It was a nice quite atmosphere.
Yes very supportive at times. But there were times unessary comments were made.
Very good about family first, flexible with hours. They gave two hour lunches.
Patients liked the Doctor, she was very knowledgeable. But far as employees no, the patients would probably say the image reflects the reality.
Not so sure about employees.
I never felt my job was stable, due to a new practice and some months there just wasn't enough patients to keep the overhead.
No ramps, no handicapped parking, it was front row because it was a small parking lot not very busy one. It was one story.
No training on that, and the work space was very small
I felt accomplished at my work, but I did not feel it was to there standards in some situations.
Inclusive / Diverse
I'm in the middle on this one because we both shared new ideas to better the practice, some of my ideas worked well and some I felt were not appreciated.
Suggestions for improvement
- New software, better benefits and pay. More job security, needs more employees, better training. Better decision making.
What I like about the company
It was a small practice and close to home. It helped me to practice my new field of billing and coding.
What I dislike about the company
I thought the pay could be better, also the conduct or conflict of moods on a personal and business end needs to change. Business is business and personal should be left at home.
