It can be the good old boy systems, based on who you know and not the skills you bring to the actual job.
Support from management
Have not been around long enough to professionally form and opinion.
Not so much but I have tried to change that way of thinking with my work ethic.
Freedom to work independently
I do work independently a lot and I enjoy the freedom and the end results of my role in requesting and securing the items, replacing old equipment, being able to assist the entire post to make sure all our military and state workers are satisfied.
My direct supervisor has a trust issue with all his supervised employees and that has a ripple effect as to the atmosphere of our work environment, which is strained at times.
Attitude towards older colleagues
I really am seeing that the place I work has a big gap in actually helping the fellow employee's.
Overall compensation for your work
I should be getting paid for my actual experience, having twenty plus years in the logistic arena, given my level of expertise.
My supervisor think that that job and title he has is the be and do all of every bodies life, but really just his.
Inclusive / Diverse
No issues here as of yet, but I would like to see more people of color in the decision making just a bit.
