#1 Start at the head of the snake. Change the head, the rest should fall in line.

One female person wearing the title manager, enjoys yelling at older men. She is still working there.

Out of 3 years, I saw 4 people who were real Managers, and they all left 209 quickly, one in just under 2 weeks

Training is horrible. Been waiting for a uniform for months now.

Better thought out plano-o-grams. They are a hack job an hard to read. My training was underwhelming they just figured I knew. I'm constantly being corrected again and again over contradicting ways

Everything, this was the worst 9 years of my life. They treat their employees like utter garbage and keep taking away benefits and perks while trying to run on a skeleton crew of staff.

50 hour weeks, long commutes, sometimes 7 day work weeks

Teamwork does not exist and is not encouraged. Instead you get in trouble for helping others because you didn't get something menial done.

There is none, no set work schedule, while is is rare to work overtime, each week your schedule will be different than then week before impossible to predict you days off in order to make plans with friends. Managers can change your schedule without advanced notice.

Coworkers are great, management and executives suck the joy from life.

Support from management

They are all looking out for themselves. They will ask you to help out another department and then write you up for not covering your department.

They send out emails, and managers talking in alphabet soup, but if you ask a question you are laughed at.

What I like

There are a few great associates and managers in each store.

What I dislike

Poor upper management. Stores/districts that have bad leadership teams and poorly performing associates are allowed to go unchecked for years without letting people go. The good associates (and customers) suffer due to how this affects overall store operation.

Suggestions for improvement

Vast improvements are needed from technological, logistics, company policies, and leadership standpoints. The company is behind the times in many of these categories which promotes severe disorganization and lack of teamwork between associates.

more employees, hire as full -time instead of temps and value them as fellow humans to be treated with dignity and respect.

schedules are changed so frequently you must check everyday, even on days off, to see if your hours were changed for the next day. You feel on call all the time and can't make plans.
