Support from management
If there is ever a question about something they don't ask you they just fire you. Then they send an email saying it was your last day and they wish you the best. Nobody knows if they're coming or going.
Certain employees don't make efforts to stay up-to-date on things, and do the new ways things are done. They want to do everything like it was done back in the eighties. They make more money have more time off and this is tolerated.
Office / Work Environment
The equipment is up to date but the desks are crammed together. Most support staff are diligent but a few people are Extremely Loud and cause distractions including when you are on the phone doing business. Nothing is said about this by management.
There is constant turnover among the support staff and even attorneys. They will fire you after getting as much work out of you as possible.
Suggestions for improvement
- Invest in your support staff because they are yours left and right arms. You wouldn't have a firm if your staff didn't show up. Stop firing people for stupid things and acting like you're still the best.
What I dislike about the company
This firm is and has been for years a very unstable firm. Some of the attorneys have their act together, some do not and appear to have ADD and temper problems.
