The company culture is changing and is struggling with its identity and what is considered accepted behavior.
Support from management
Expectations poorly communicated. The management team appears to struggles with providing direction.
Though employees work well together there is limited reaction between functions.
Freedom to work independently
Due to an evolving structure and hierarchy work load and responsibility were continually changing.
Does a good job posting certain key measures but needs to orall communication.
Office / Work Environment
Improving but sounds levels still exceed 100 dB in the plant. Poor air circulation and plant temperature during summer are frequently above 95 degrees.
No direct evidence of social responsibility or good community citizenship at this location.
This area of the business is in desperate need of change and receives little attention from management. Machines are allowed to run without guards in place and control of hazardous energy is nonexistent. This speaks volumes about the culture and a weaknesses in management.

- Bring in a GM who provides the leadership to effectively set the direction of the organization and communicate strategic goals aligned with the organizations vision.

What I dislike about the company
Poor direction from management. The management team doesn't effectively convey the company vision and strategic goals. 8n addition many upper managers were highly effective employees however not effective managers.
