Some leaders are good, others can leave you to figure it out. That can be good on some levels, awful on others. Some leaders are really difficult
Some departments play better in the sandbox, some leaders are difficult to deal with
Freedom to work independently
I liked the autonomy, but others found it difficult. It can end up silo-ish on issues
Senior Management does not communicate well, does not hear some issues, great if you like autonomy. Not so much when trying to do complex multi department issues.
Suggestions for improvement
- Senior Management should have coaching on how to communicate, how to deal with the issues that they do not want to face.
What I like about the company
Great place to grow for the right person. Very successful Non-profit CDC, good portfolio. Able to move some issues forward where other CDC's seem to get lost.
What I dislike about the company
Some leadership is really difficult to deal with
