Suggestions for improvement
- Other than merging all the military exchange and service organizations into one entity to be able to improve purchasing power (better prices for our customers), this company is doing the best it can in the situation it is in.
What I like about the company
We provide services to the United States Marines. All of us have a mindset that what we do should benefit our customers. The leadership recognizes the hard work we do, not just to make profits, but to better the lives of service members. We work in a situation unlike any other business... Walmart doesn't provide mental health benefits to the community for free, but we do. Target doesn't put on sports events for the community for free, but we do. And we do it in a foreign country.
What I dislike about the company
Employees are often the spouses of Marines... They move to other places. We always are searching for employees to fill vacancies, so we are always a little short staffed. As well, since these people are moving across the planet, we are always making new friends, then seeing them leave.
