Suggestions for improvement
- I feel like most people are there to work individually, but we need more of a team effort. Communication is key, and every department struggles with communication.
What I like about the company
I know a few people that have been working at my location for decades, which is a great sign that my company provides well for them. I really enjoy the employee dining services, and appreciate the other benefits. They also have a volunteer program. I oncehelped on a lunch line feeding people who are homeless with my coworkers, and it was good to see my company organizing a community outreach opportunity. My favorite perk of this company is the employee discounts for me and my family when we stay at compan hotels. It makes me that much more likely to stay.
What I dislike about the company
We have had a few issues with the maintenance of the old building, and not having the ability to fix it. When out elevators are down, or the heat/air conditioning isn’t working, we can offer temporary fixes but it never gets fully fixed. I have been tol it is due to cost, but we are handling so many guest complaints that I think proper maintenance would alleviate a lot of those complaints.
