culture is all PR--they really couldn't care less about valuing individuals. Their main concern is making money and avoiding employee lawsuits or fighting unions.
Support from management
They will support you with strategic documentation to fabricate your flaws and cover their own hides.
Only motivated by the threat of losing your job.
Freedom to work independently
Yes, you will work independently....because there is minimal staff to support you. I don't know if that is exactly freedom though.
Poor. Even if messages are communicated there is lots of misinterpretation and backstabbing.
sure.....they hire men, women and all 73 other genders.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The attitude towards all colleagues is poor.
If you are minimally educated and a minority, sharpen your schmoozing skills and latch onto an upwardly mobile manager. You can coattail through a very productive career---but don't lose sight that it's just a manufactured game for your own success. It's not about hospitality.
Overall compensation for your work
Benefits are outstanding--especially if you provide insurance for spouse/partner and kids. They would pay you less if they possibly could.
Office / Work Environment
My office was an old chemical storage closet and I shared it with 2 other managers. But the event sales staff had elegant suites with mood lighting so I guess it depends.
If you're there for office politics it's quite friendly. If you're there to work hard and actually express an opinion it won't last long.
Shifts that last 300pm to 400am--exactly how does one balance that??
surprisingly their marketing department is the most effective component. People actually believe its a great company.
there is no negative star rating. I give it one star because upper management is pretty much permanently armored.

Extremely challenging. More work than you can possibly accomplish. Luckily, you start anew every single day. If you love the movie Groundhog Day, this is your wet dream.
