There was incentive to feel good about the job if you weren't part of the managements clique
Employees are meant to feel that their job is in jeopardy. Not a great situation to encourage team work when you have to worry if your job is on the line.

- Don't always hire friends of workers. Try hiring people and placing them in the position that suits their education and experience.
