- Elect a new Attorney General... someone who actually understands the office
I like about the employer
It is completely dependent on who the elected Attorney General is at the time. When I was there, under a prior administration, there was a strong sense of respect, autonomy, trust, and understanding. That is not the case with the current Attorney General
I dislike about the employer
The currently elected Attorney General had very limited understanding of what his job/position entailed based on meetings I was in with him months after he took office. There is a severe micro-management on-going now, with no real understanding of the many various components of the office. The criminal division chief and Deputy Attorney General ordered several reviews in my time there that were, in my opinion unconstitutional and against the prosecutors ethical responsibility, and conducted a meeting where it was specifically stated that they didn't care about evidence, just that cases be brought quickly- completely unethical.
