Suggestions for improvement
- Offer more scheduling flexibility for direct-service staff (Working from home regularly, part-time opportunities, etc.), more opportunities for socializing among staff, regular support to prevent burn-out and cope with secondary trauma.
What I like about the company
Working with vulnerable populations of clients and connecting them to much-needed resources for them and their families. Direct-service staff often support each other.
What I dislike about the company
Low compensation and few opportunities for professional advancement. Grant-funding makes job security questionable. Upper management are out of touch with the needs of their field staff and the population the programs serve. Feedback from employees isn't seriously considered. Low company morale.
