Suggestions for improvement
- I would make our guidelines we follow clear and simple, no gray areas for anyone. Id find a way to regulate the heat better. Pay periods should be more frequent, because even though i make more than my last job you still end up living paycheck to paycheck.
What I like about the company
It is a wonderful company to promote in, when i started i was promoted within a month to my current position. They pay is great, this is the most i have ever made. Most of the management team is supportive and friendly and encourage you to move up and expand yourself in the company. I love that we try to get everyone who needs it health insurance. Every now and then they provide a snack for the hard work we have done for the quarter.
What I dislike about the company
The pay periods are rough, essentially we get paid every 2 and a half weeks which makes paying bills harder. When the company closes for a snow day(which has only happened once since i've been here, we have to use our PTO to cover it which i think is unfair. The lighting and temperature is bad, im constantly getting migraines from how harsh the lights are. Back in my department the temperature averages at 60 degrees, which makes it very hard to work and be focused when your cold in the middle of winter. Each management team has its own set of guidelines they follow, so you could go to 4 different managers with the same question and get a different answer, so not everyone is on the same page.
