EmployeeWorked at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ at the time of review.

What I like

Coworkers are generally very personable and helpful. Mayo has a good retirement benefit including a pension and pays the best in AZ. The facilities are nice and we have the most current technology.

What I dislike

Upper management is distant, communicates poorly, and doesn’t tend to care about retaining employees. The only way to “move up” is to know someone.

Suggestions for improvement

Improve tuition assistance program and have a pay increase for certifications. Implement weekend differential. Hire management that wants to help their employees succeed and reach their goals.
