Overall compensation for your work
The benfits package for this job was great and the pay was fair.
I was laid off due to a sister company not meeting their goals. The company laid off about 5 employees the day I was let go and I was specifically laid off so a Manger from a different department could take my spot.
We had racks for storage that were not bolted to the ground. The racks held elevator parts weighing thousands of pounds.
The position workload was admittedly a 1.5 person job. There was not enough time on any given day to complete all tasks
Suggestions for improvement
- Get organized.
What I like about the company
The work was fast paced and challanging. The benfits were great (paid for completely by the company)
What I dislike about the company
There was not any training for many positions including mine (dispatch). The controller for the company was unprofessional with me and other employees. My manager did not follow his own safety procedures resulting in himself getting hurt on the job, setting a bad example for my fellow employees and making the office workload almost much worse for our department. There was not good communication for management to me, I was left out of the loop on many desicions and information that directly affected my job.
