I have worked for a few companies being a defense contractor and this has been by far the company that is mostly in support of their employees
Support from management
When there has been issues dealing with the prime contractor the company is always standing up for their employees
being a supporting contractor working at different sites does not really allow for teamwork to occur in a regular office setting but the companies does its best to have interaction at the various locations
Freedom to work independently
Again being a supporting contractor, the employee is entrusted to work independently with its government customer
Monthly newsletter, email notifications are the main tools used to integrate the various sites. A sharepoint website allows employees to voice their opinion, obtain training and request required documentation.
Gender equality is a top priority in the MCR culture.
Attitude towards older colleagues
MCR hires experience employees as well as younger employees to train them for different roles.

Office / Work Environment
The office/work environment is normally allocated to the customer the employees support but there is always communication to allow employees to make their work environment adequate.
This is normally established by the customers location.
MCR does its best to make sure that there is a work life balance. Ensuring accommodations in the event you travel for your customer, also there is a PTO package, leave without pay if not enough leave is available and the ability to flex time within pay periods.
MCR tries to promote its image in the defense industry
The defense contractor scenario is based on different contract awards this is the major downfall of being a contractor therefore job security is not as strong as other industries

What I like about the company
I like that they are sincere in taking care of their employees, you can reach any level of management as I have in the past and that they take care of the employees to ensure retention.
What I dislike about the company
I don't like that it is based on contract work for the most part as it does not provide the stability comfort that one will like.
