Suggestions for improvement
- When implementing new systems and programs, have better training platforms for employees. The confusion leads to frustration and criticism of others. Be more focused on patient's over all experience and not so focused on pre-authorizations to ensure the company gets their money. Have better incentive programs when changing the expectations of employees.
What I like about the company
The company gave me an opportunity to grow into myself as an employee and assist colleagues as well as co-workers above me with day to day needs. I learned the inner workings of insurance and health care which provided me with knowledge I can apply even now to friends and family. The company was large but the office was small which brought employees closer together and made it a joyful relaxing work environment.
What I dislike about the company
The company started out treating its employees great and not like subordinates but as the company changed to a cooperation the humanity and morals seemed to disappear. The main goal was compassion and team work but the end goal was how fast can you get it done, patient volume and learning new systems that took away the employees personalities. The company could have had a smoother transition implementing different new programs and a better help desk resource for common questions and concerns. The company went through the motions and still treated their employees fairly but they lacked the moral decency they once had.
